The breakfast served here packs a punch with high-quality, carefully cooked dishes that kick off the day just right. The room's decor is a striking mix of modern comfort and Victorian charm, making for an inviting and relaxing atmosphere.
A little noise from the first floor might disturb some light sleepers, but it’s nothing earplugs can’t handle. Regulating the heat was a bit tricky, and the early breakfast hours (6:30-8:30) might leave some guests scrambling after a late night. A touch more flexibility in breakfast options would enhance the overall experience.

Spending a night in a charming historical home was a delightful experience! Our room was well-appointed and quiet, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking in the nearby areas. I truly appreciated the owner's local knowledge, guiding us on the best spots to check out. The delicious breakfast, featuring freshly made treats, set us up for a great day ahead. Location-wise, we easily walked to multiple interesting spots, including the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum and the beautiful Bethel Hill Common.

Great location for hiking, but breakfast could use more variety.

I was quite disappointed with the lack of doors between the bedroom and bathroom—just a flimsy curtain! I expected better from my accommodations. And the breakfast hours, 6:30-8:30, are truly absurd. As a guest, I surely woudl ve been worthy of a complimentary muffin as an apology for these inconveniences, but alas, nothing of the sort.

Group of friends, cozy vibes!
The place was warm and inviting, just felt like home! The breakfast? To die for! John even gave us his personal number, just in case we needed anything, and.
It was a bit on the pricey side, but considering the experience, it was worth it.
